Terms and Conditions

  • Our services are provided only till the Municipal limits of the cities that we cater to.
  • At the time of pickup, your gadget will be inspected by our PICKME buddy, and we ensure careful handling of your gadget.
  • All gadgets picked up by us are covered under in-transit insurance. In case of accidental damage or lost in transit; PICKME will compensate for the same.
  • Additional charges to repair the damage quoted by the service center as per warranty norms will be paid by the customer.
  • In case the customer wants to proceed with the repair; payment for the same will have to be done in advance.
  • Address for drop of the gadget can be changed only within the municipal limits of the city from which the pickup is arranged.
  • Same Day Pick up is arranged for all the requests between 10 am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday depending on the availability of our PICKME buddies.
  1. The required information for insurance are :
    1. Name of the subscriber.
    2. Address at which the gadget is required to be covered.
    3. Contact number and email id.
    4. Gadget type.
    5. Make.
    6. Model.
    7. Serial Number / Unique Identification Number.
    8. Purchase date of the gadget.
  1. The Zero Maintenance Program is valid only for new gadgets registered on within 30 days of purchase. Pickmeindia will get the gadget repaired/replaced (only if the gadget cannot be repaired) only under the following cases:
    1. Burglary of registered product eligible for program.
    2. Loss/Damage to registered product eligible for program due to fire.
    3. Loss/Damage to registered product eligible for program due to accidental damage.
    4. Loss/Damage to registered product eligible for program due to liquid/ water seepage in/on the product.
  2. Definitions
    1. Burglary means forcible violent entry/exit evidencing the act of burglary.
    2. Fire means visible flames or smoke thereafter which is accidental in nature and caused damage to registered product covered under Zero Maintenance Program.
    3. Accidental damage means unintentional drop or collision of registered product covered under Zero Maintenance Program.
    4. Liquid/water damage means sudden and accidental spillage/entry of liquid/water in/on the registered product covered under Zero Maintenance Program.
  3. Claim process
    1. All claims should be reported to Pickmeindia within 48 hrs. However, due to unavoidable reasons, if the customer is not able to report the claim within 48 hours, it shall be at the sole discretion of Pickmeindia or the insurer to approve or reject a claim.
    2. Customer can download and fill up a form available online and can send it to Pickmeindia or submit to Pickmeindia’s executive at the time of pickup of the gadget.
    3. Pickmeindia or the insurer reserves the right to approve or reject any claim. Repair/ replacement will be subject to approval from Pickmeindia or insurer or any other party appointed by Pickmeindia or insurer to verify the claim.
    4. An independent agency shall be appointed by the insurer to conduct a survey at the site of claim.
      1. Burglary & Fire Claims:
        1. Pickmeindia will arrange for a Survey at the site of burglary/fire within 3 to 4 working days.(within Municipal Limits).
        2. Replacement is subject to a positive survey report from an independent agency appointed by the insurer.
        3. Any salvage or recovered gadget/parts shall be a property of Pickmindia.
        4. The required documents for burglary/fire claims are:
          1. Proof of Purchase
          2. Claims Form
          3. Photographs
          4. Fire Brigade Report (If required)
          5. First Information Report / Letter of intimation to the Police Station duly acknowledged/endorsed/ Police Panchnama
      2. Accidental damage/ liquid/water damage claims:
        1. Pickmeindia shall collect the gadget from the customer and take it to authorized service centre of the Brand.
        2. Pickmeindia shall arrange for a quotation by the service centre.
        3. Pickmeindia shall arrange for a physical inspection of the gadget by an independent agency appointed by the insurer and advice the admissibility of the claim.
        4. For all cases, the Service centre will go ahead with repair only after a formal approval in writing from Pickmeindia.
        5. The required documents are:
        6. a) Copy of Purchase Invoice b) pictures of damaged parts & serial number of the damaged units
        7. Replacement of unit will be at the discretion of Pickmeindia and the insurer. Pickmeindia will replace the product with similar features and model of same or lesser value.
        8. Damaged gadget/parts once replaced will be the property of Pickmeindia.
  4. Terms & Conditions
    1. The maximum liability cannot exceed unit price of the gadget as evident on the invoice/bill.
    2. Maximum unit price/MOP of a gadget that can be covered under Zero maintenance program is limited to Rs. 50,000/-
    3. If the customer subscribes for service of after accidental damage or partial damage to the gadget due to fire or burglary, he is not eligible to claim under the program.
    4. The invoice submitted by the end customer should clearly state the date of purchase, make, model & serial number of the gadget.
    5. The Program is valid only for gadgets purchased in India.
    6. Zero Maintenance Program does not cover commercial usage of the gadget.
    7. There will not be any cash settlement with the customer.
    8. Willful act, fraud, ignorance or negligence by the customer or any person acting on customers behalf is not covered
    9. Mysterious disappearances shall not be covered.
    10. Any loss to the registered product during the act of (unless the registered product is burgled) burglary and/or during fire (unless registered product damaged by fire) is not admissible under the Program.
    11. Any incidental, consequential losses or legal liability of any kind is excluded.
    12. The program does not cover accessories.
    13. Fire due to any technical or electrical fault of registered product will be excluded.
    14. Loss or damage whether directly or indirectly, arising from war, warlike operations, and/or foreign enemy, hostilities, civil war or confiscation of the unit by the Order of Court, Government or Police.
    15. Damage caused by any process of cleaning, dyeing or bleaching, restoring, repairing or renovation or deterioration arising from wear and tear, moth, vermin, insects or mildew or any other gradually operating clause.
    16. Any claim arising out of criminal Breach of Trust shall be excluded
    17. Loss/damage caused by any mechanical or electrical derangement/breakdown of any article shall be excluded unless caused by accidental external means. Normal wear and tear is excluded
    18. Loss or damage or consequential loss directly or indirectly caused by, consisting of, or arising from:
      • a. Any functioning or malfunctioning of the internet or similar facility, or of any intranet or private network or similar facility,
      • b. Any corruption, destruction, distortion, erasure or other loss or damage to data, software, or any kind of programming or instruction set,
      • c. Loss of use or functionality whether partial or entire of data, coding, program, software, any computer or computer system or other device dependent upon any microchip or embedded logic, and any ensuing liability or failure of the Insured to conduct business.
    19. Any loss or damage forming part of either manufacturer’s warranty or any other warranty is excluded.
    20. Service of unit on which Manufacturer’s label or logo or serial number have been defaced or removed is not covered.
    21. Any damage caused due to unauthorized repair or improper repair or installation or not abiding by the Manufacturer’s instructions is excluded.
    22. Loss or damage due or contributed by the Insured/end customer having caused or suffered anything to be done whereby the risk against were unnecessarily increased.
    23. Burglary of any accessory related to the Insured Product is excluded.
    24. Fire due to any technical or electrical fault of Insured Product will be excluded.
    25. Shortage discovered at the time of stocktaking or inventory check
    26. Any loss or damage, to any property whatsoever or any loss or expenses whatsoever, resulting or arising there from or any consequential loss, and any legal liability of whatever nature directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to or arising from ionizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any source whatsoever.
    27. Loss which are not recoverable under Burglary :
      • a. Loss or damage directly or indirectly, proximately or remotely occasioned by or which arises out of or in connection with riot and strike, civil commotion, terrorist activities, earthquake, flood, storm, cyclone or other convulsions of nature or atmospheric disturbances.
      • b. Loss or damage whether directly or indirectly arising from war, warlike operations, and/or foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war be declared or not) civil war, revolution, insurrection, civil commotion, military or usurped power, seizure, capture, confiscation, arrests, restraints and detainment by the order of any Governments or any other authority.
    28. Breakage, Cracking or Scratching of glass, Cameras, lenses and similar articles of fragile nature, unless caused by fire or accident.
    29. Over winding or internal damage of watches are excluded unless internal damage is caused by accidental means.
    30. Loss or damage due or contributed by the Insured/end customer having caused or suffered anything to be done whereby the risk against were unnecessarily increased
    31. Articles in pair or sets: Where any items insured hereunder consists of articles in pair or set, the Company’s liability in respect thereof shall not exceed the value of any particular part/parts which may be lost or damaged without reference to any special value which such article/articles may have as part of such pair or set and not more than a proportionate part of the Insured value of the pair or set.
    32. Deductible or depreciation of 10% on all type of approved claims except waterlog is 20% of approved claim.
    33. Pickmeindia reserves the right to modify rates, terms or coverage at any point of time without any prior notice. Pickmeindia shall also reserve the right to cancel the Program or introduce new Program without any prior notice.
  • Zero maintenance programs are underwritten by The New India Assurance Co. Ltd.
  • Insurance shall be available only during the period of insurance. Insurer shall not be liable for any liability arising after expiry of the Policy period.
  • Insurer reserves the right to approve or reject any claim.
  • Zero Maintenance Program is subject to agreed terms & conditions of the Policy.
  • Insurance is subject matter of solicitation.
